Summer 2018 Elections: Now hiring for 2018-2019

The Sociology Undergraduate Student Association is holding elections for the executive team of 2018-2019. 

If you would like to run for a position please fill out a Nomination Form and submit a short written speech (2-3 minutes) to yorkususa@gmail.com by Monday August 13th, 2018 at 11:59PM.

Candidates will have the opportunity to present speeches and answer questions at a Candidates Meeting on Wednesday August 15th at 6:30pm in the Sociology Common Room (in the Sociology Department, 2060 Vari Hall). All members are encouraged to attend and ask questions!

If you are not able to attend this meeting please let us know when you submit your speech, the current SUSA president will then read it on your behalf. Candidate information and speeches will also be posted online.

The election vote will be held online via YU Connect, so be sure to add yourself to SUSA’s YU Connect group roster.

Please refer to the SUSA Constitution for detailed information on executive duties when considering the position you are applying for. You may apply for a maximum of two positions.

Online voting will be open from Thursday August 16th throughout Saturday August 18th at 11:59PM. Results will be announced on Sunday August 19th.
